During the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the most missed aspects of normal life was seeing live music. Luckily, concerts are BACK in Iron City Bham, and the beloved concert hall has an exceptional lineup planned for July. Read on for all the details 👇
1. CashBack – Tribute to Johnny Cash – July 9
- What: CashBack – Tribute to Johnny Cash
- When: Friday July 9 at 8 p.m.

If you are looking for an authentic homage to Johnny Cash, it doesn’t get better than CashBack. Birmingham-based CashBack has been performing classic Johnny Cash tunes in the South since 2018. During CashBack’s performance, you’ll hear a wide variety of songs spanning Man in Black’s 51-year career.
2. Bruce Katz Band – July 10

- When: Saturday July 10 at 5 p.m.

Legendary keyboardist Bruce Katz will take the stage at the Iron City Grill in early July, performing a unique blend of blues, American roots, rock and a hint of jazz. You might recognize him when he was a pianist with the Gregg Allman Band, playing the legendary Hammond B3 organ.
3. Flame Waka Flocka – July 15
- What: Waka Flocka Flame Live with EDM set!

Since his first single Let’s do it Hit the charts in 2009, Waka Flocka Flame has become a globally recognized name in the rap scene. Now he’s teasing songs from his upcoming album, Flockavelli II, while on tour. In Iron City, you can expect to see Waka Flocka bring his classic energy, as well as his foray into the EDM genre.
4. Leonid and his friends – July 23
- What: Leonid and his friends
- When: Friday July 23 at 7 p.m.

Composed of 11 of the best musicians from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus, Leonid & Friends are one of the best tribute groups to take up the legendary tunes of Chicago. The group recorded their first interpretation of a Chicago song, Brand new love story, in 2014. The video quickly went viral. Since then, Leonid & Friends have started touring the United States, performing classic Chicago tunes like, 25 or 6 to 4, saturday in the park and You are the inspiration.
5. Les Pygm̩es Velcro РJuly 24
- What: The Pygmies Velcro

For more than three decades, The Velcro Pygmies have brought the rock’n’roll sounds of the 80s to life. Founded in the 1990s, this rock band is loud, fast and larger than life. In fact, they’ve been compared to people like Van Halen, Poison, Bon Jovi, and more.
