Hispanic game night

Play popular Hispanic culture board games at the College of Business’s brand new Diversity and Inclusion Gathering Space (DIGS) for Hispanic Heritage Month. Music, snacks and prizes will be offered.

Walk-in influenza vaccination clinic
October 6, 7 and 8 | 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. | University Health Center, Rm 240
Current UNL students can get a free flu shot by attending a flu shot clinic at the University Health Center. Bring your NCard, completed 2021-22 Flu Vaccination Form, and Proxy form (18 years old only).

Food Truck Night
Tuesday October 5 | 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. | 17th Street Green Space
Grab your crew and use your meal plan for a fun night out with hundreds of Huskers with delicious food from three popular Lincoln food trucks. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to create a picnic and enjoy music and garden games on the green space. Open to all UNL students, with or without meal plan. Cash and credit accepted for students without a meal plan.

Medication recovery day
Wednesday October 6 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Nebraska Union
Throw away your unused or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, regardless of who they were prescribed or in what container they are in to help reduce the risk of accidental overdoses. In addition, you will have the chance to win an Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet. Medications will be safely disposed of by a licensed pharmacist and campus police officer.

Watch this free show as students from all colleges and backgrounds use improvisation to explore their personal stories with social impact and present them in a theatrical experience to inspire, educate and entertain the university and the local community. . Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Thursday October 7 | 19h | Lied Performing Arts Center
Enjoy an evening of comedy with the multi-platinum artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner, and one of the nation’s top comedians. Larry the Cable Guy will be heading to Git-R-Done at this special event with 100% of proceeds supporting the Lied.
