Indie label Big Machine Label Group, a subsidiary of HYBE America, has announced the signing of a Los Angeles-based band starcrawler to his Big Machine Records rock music roster. Starcrawler joins the label which is also home to superstar Sheryl Crow, Ray Wylie Hubbard, John 5, Badflower and Ayron Jones.
With the Los Angeles Time calling the band “a hard-swinging stoner-metal quartet with a taste for ’70s glam and giddy SoCal sleaze”, and the UK Guardian stating “they live and die by wild din stolen from antecedents like the Stooges and Nirvana”, Starcrawler is set for a massive breakout at a time when rock is enjoying a budding resurgence among young music fans everywhere.
Consisting of vocalist Arrow de Wilde, guitarist Henri Cash, bassist Tim Franco, guitarist/guitarist Bill Cash and drummer Seth Carolina, Starcrawler is wrapping up their debut album with Big Machine Records and will be taking their show on the road later this year. Already a sync favorite for shows like Netflix Lucifer, movies like Paramount Pet sematary, and publisher DC Comics, the group has a growing international fanbase on streaming platforms from Los Angeles to Mexico City to Sydney. Starcrawler was also featured in Dave Grohl’s 2021 film What motivates us.
“We are delighted to say that we have signed with Big Machine! This is a huge deal for us and we can’t wait for everyone to hear all the new music we’ve been working on!” said Starcrawler.
“As Big Machine continues to expand its reach, great young rock bands align greatly with our future vision,” said BMLG Chairman and CEO Scott Borchetta. “When I look into our crystal ball, I see Starcrawler. Soon you will too…”
