A Burton theater company will take the stage to perform an updated version of the second-longest-running Off-Broadway musical.
Members of the Cabaret Theater Company will perform ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’ at the Brewhouse Arts Center next month.
This show is a lesser known musical with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts. It’s the second-longest-running Off-Broadway musical and a hilarious take on life, love, and relationships.

Cabaret Theater Company producer Sally Everson said: “This hit musical takes you through all the ups and downs of modern relationships, from first-date nerves to meeting parents, to marital squabbles, having children and even dating in your twilight years.
“Ten years after our original production of this show, we’re back with an updated version that brings you the same hilarious themes but with all the new quirks of modern life. Get ready for a night of laughs and romance. you won’t forget – perfect for anyone who’s ever been in love!”
Cabaret Theater Company was established in 2011 and since then has presented musicals at The Brewhouse. It started with youth productions such as Joseph and Barnum and then grew into a very successful adult company. Her last two shows before the pandemic were sold-out productions Chicago in 2019 and Annie in 2020.
“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” is suitable for ages 15 and up and will run Thursday, February 3 through Saturday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m.
