Coldplay will tour State Farm Stadium in Glendale next year

PHOENIX – Grammy-winning rock band Coldplay is inviting Arizona fans to “Viva La Vida” this May when they tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
The British group will perform at the home of the Arizona Cardinals on May 3 as part of the Music of the Spheres tour.
Coldplay will be joined by the singer HER at the stop.

Presale packages go on sale Wednesday and public tickets will be available on October 22 at 10 a.m.
It will be Coldplay’s first subway station in Phoenix since August 2016, when the band performed at the Gila River Arena in Glendale.
The band only performed five times in the Valley, according to setlist.fm.
Coldplay released their ninth studio album on Friday, aptly titled “Music of the Spheres”.
The British rockers have racked up seven Grammys wins, the most recent being three awards in 2008.
Coldplay was the headliner for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show in Santa Clara, Calif., In 2016.
