In loving memory, Shaedyn Archambault

Shaedyn Marie Archambault – beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and talented artist and entertainer – passed away on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at her home in Firestone, CO. She was 17.

Born in September 2004 to Damien Archambault and Heather Niemann-Archambault, Shaedyn immediately captivated the hearts of everyone she met, humans and animals. With a beautiful smile, a huge heart, and a larger than life personality, Shaedyn has never met a stranger. With a silly smile, she would tell the funniest stories and jokes, entertaining family and friends with her vivid imagination for hours. When not entertaining humans, Shaedyn could be found sharing a song, story, or joke with her beloved animals, who often ended up as characters in her performances.

It was common for Shaedyn to become someone’s “best friend” in about 5 minutes. After that, she was there to exaggerate you to every person she spoke to with nothing but positivity. She has always had the ability to find kindness in everyone and in most situations. A profound statement was made by a loved one who said “Shae is an angel who has fallen on this mortal Earth”. If you have met her, you believe it to be true.

Endowed with perfect comedic timing, Shaedyn was an outgoing girl who loved the arts and the theater almost as much as she loved animals. When not entertaining her family, friends or pets, Shaedyn enjoyed being in front of an audience on the CWC stage, performing in productions such as Annie Get Your Gun, A Christmas Carol and Everyman. Her stage family held a very special place in her heart.

From the very beginning, Shaedyn loved to play and entertain. This led her to be passionate about all types of theater, film, television and music. Some of Shaedyn’s favorite movies, TV shows, and books were rarely the ones that ended in a fairy tale. She enjoyed the script which contained struggle, angst, absurd situations, absurd themes and a strange, symbolic character. One of her favorite shows was The Office. Dwight Shrute being his favorite character, followed closely by Jim. Maybe she identified with him because of his comedic timing, but also that he cared about everyone and would do anything to protect them.

Shaedyn could go into virtually any scenario and become one with it, allowing the characters to be friends or family. The world was the place of beauty and magic in the eyes of a dreamer with a creative soul like Shaedyn. Never tiring of her favorites, she could read the same book 20 times and watch her favorite movies just as much, always finding joy and excitement as if it was the very first time. She was able to look at things in a new way to keep that sense of wonder and curiosity with each new interest, ready to be different, embracing what seemed impossible.

Shaedyn would light up any room she entered with her presence and her dazzling smile. She was always up for travel and adventure in the city lights. Shaedyn was a movie buff who could lead high profile discussions about any Jim Henson ™ or Disney ™ production made in the past 40 years since the age of 7. She is the most precious daughter and big sister one could ask for. , plus the most understanding, forgiving, and selfless kind of Ride or Die friend anyone could dream of. His departure from earth to heaven left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who love him.

Shaedyn is survived by his parents; her younger sister Paisley; her maternal grandfather, Jim (Liru); his paternal grandmother, Sydne; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and pets. She will be sadly missed by all. Now that Shaedyn is at rest, let us hold her close to us, in our minds and in our spirits. Let us encourage in us those gifts which made her special and the extraordinary beauty of her heart. “I love you. I love you the most. I love you the most.”
