‘Nice Shirt’: Jonas Brothers to walk a dog in Cleveland

CLEVELAND – Meeting the members of your favorite music group can become a dream come true. Meeting them while wearing a shirt of them is even better, especially if they are the ones who saw you before you saw them.

This is what happened on Sunday afternoon in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood of Cleveland, where Margo Trumpower was walking his dog, Sonny, while wearing his 15-year-old Jonas Brothers t-shirt.

“Nice shirt,” shouted Nick Jonas as he passed, stopping for a quick exchange with a star-struck Trumpower.

Jonas filmed the exchange and shared it on his Instagram and TikTok pages, Cleveland.com reported. His brothers, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas, were in the car as Trumpower quickly pulled out his phone and took a selfie with his longtime favorite musical group.

Nick Jonas even recognized the fan’s dog saying, “Your dog is very cute. Hey, Sonny.”

Trumpower told Cleveland.com she’s been wearing the Jonas Brothers shirt since her very first gig in the late 2000s – and still wears it, with the sleeves cut off, “all the time.”

She now works in Music Artist Management, Touring and VIP Management, having already met her fair share of music celebrities. But the meeting of the Jonas Brothers, especially its unfolding, will remain special for her.

“It was crazy,” she said. “Seeing the Jonas Brothers and being caught off guard like that was a whole new world for me.”

The band, originally from New Jersey, were in Cleveland to record a performance for NBC’s Macy’s Fourth of July Special at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, according to Cleveland.com.
