Although relatively unknown in North America, the profile of Dancing On Tables in the UK continues to rise, via a recent supporting stint on Catfish and The Bottlemen’s arena tour, and by including their music in recent Schuh x Adidas and Scottish Water advertising campaigns and on major playlists such as New Music Friday, The Pop List and Breaking Alternative, in addition to being named one of Variety Magazine’s ’10 Brits To Watch’.
The band’s signature high-energy, anthemic live sound has seen sold-out dates across the UK, as well as projects from festivals such as Latitude and Kendal Calling.
â’Oh’ is a song written on our very first trip to the United States, at a time when we were still getting used to being musicians. It meant spending less and less time with the people and places we knew and loved and we were adjusting to a new way of life, which is reflected throughout the song, âsaid co-singer and guitarist Callum Thomas. .
âDespite that, we still wanted the song to sound defiantly to show that love conquers any distance and time. When planning the video, we wanted to showcase the beauty of Scotland to represent what we were missing back then, but also showing how, as a band, we still love playing the track that started our journey up to this point. This makes it the perfect song to share with the world before we release. our debut album in 2022 because no matter where we end up, we’ll always relate to how we felt when we wrote the track in the first place, âsaid Thomas.
