summer of music “On Course” for Live at Lakeview, Big Blue Music and Brews Festival and Brewfest | South of Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — On Course Events is celebrating the opportunity to bring live music to the South Shore after two seasons of cancellations due to the pandemic.

The local company is expanding its schedule this summer to include Tahoe South’s inaugural Big Blue Music and Brews Festival, the Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series and the 5th Annual Tahoe Brewfest.

Tahoe South’s inaugural Big Blue Music and Brews Festival, May 27-29, is a free 3-day festival with over 45 artists performing at 17 venues along the California side of South Lake Tahoe.

Featured artists include Pablo Cruise, an American pop/rock band from San Francisco; Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, an artist from San Francisco named “Artist of the Year” by BB King; Scott Pemberton O Theory, a funky, surfy rock band from Portland, Oregon; The Laurie Morvan Band, a five-piece high-energy blues rock band from Long Beach, California; San Francisco native Dennis Johnson and The Revelators recognized as a “slide guitar master” by Guitar World Magazine; and over a dozen local and regional artists.
Tahoe South has partnered with MOPO to offer an official mobile app for the festival to help locals and visitors find unique, meaningful, and local activities. In the app’s #BigBlue channel, visitors can check out the latest schedule, venue and artist information, get directions and more here – to download.

Festivals are better with friends, which is why there’s over $1,000 in cash and prizes available for those who help spread the word about the first festival of the season. For official contest rules and information, connect with @BigBlueMusicandBrews on Facebook and Instagram.
