Ten new shows announced at the Hanover Theater


The Hanover Theater will put on a number of exciting shows during its 2021-2022 season, and the company looks forward to welcoming audiences back to the theater after this long intermission.

BROADWAY: Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville: Plan your escape to the new musical about the choices we make – and the people we become – once we shift latitude. The Hanover Theater and Conservatory for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce that Jimmy Buffett’s Escape To Margaritaville will take place in Worcester from October 21-24, 2021.

Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented over 40,000 stories to standing audiences around the world. The Moth Mainstage, coming to the Hanover Theater and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 7:30 p.m., is a staged show featuring true stories, told live and without notes, celebrating the ability of stories to honor both the diversity and community of human experience.

Get the leads: Unleash the passion and fury that only Get the Led Out delivers over the blues and groove-infused rock anthems of “The Mighty Zep”, live on the main stage of the Hanover Theater and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Saturdays November 6. 2021 at 8 p.m. Based in Philadelphia and formed by six seasoned musicians, Get the Led Out brings the music of Led Zeppelin to life with a multi-instrumentalist touch.

The Boston Pops Holiday Tour: Decorate the rooms, prune the tree and join us at the Hanover Theater and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 8 p.m. for the Boston Pops Holiday Tour. Capturing the magic of the Christmas season and the wintery charms of New England, the Boston Pops will perform their signature “Sleigh Ride”, along with other holiday classics and new arrangements of seasonal favorites.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical: As audiences and families begin to flock to theaters around the world, the longest-running and top-rated holiday special’s ‘most famous reindeer’ will fly to Worcester at the Hanover Theater on Monday. December 6, 2021 at 7.30 am. PM with the critically acclaimed live show Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical.

Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson: an astrophysicist goes to the cinema: From Star Wars to Frozen to Titanic to The Martian, discover an entertaining and informative review of all the science that our favorite movies were wrong, combined with some of the things they got right! Visit the Hanover Theater and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 7 p.m. for an evening with Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson: An Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies, followed by an interactive Q&A.
