The Notting Hill-inspired gay musical premieres at Green Room 42 tonight

The musical Tempting Mr. Lincoln by Joel B. New is presented in concert tonight at The Green Room 42. The concert is conducted by Stanley Martin (Aladdin) under the musical direction of Gillian Berkowitz (Lehman Trilogy).

In Tempting Mr. Lincoln, Joshua Fry Speed ​​is a general store clerk whose monotonous existence is thrown into romantic turmoil when a sexy young lawyer named Abraham Lincoln appears in his shop. A chance encounter over spilled baby oil leads to a kiss that turns into a full-fledged affair. As the average guy and the future president grow ever closer, they struggle to reconcile their drastically different lifestyles in the name of love. There is also time travel.
